You shall be careful therefore to do as the Lord your God has commanded you. You shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. You shall walk in all the way that the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live, and that it may go well with you, and that you may live long in the land that you shall possess … For the land that you are entering to take possession of it is not like the land of Egypt, from which you have come, where you sowed your seed and irrigated it, like a garden of vegetables. But the land that you are going over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water by the rain from heaven, a land that the Lord your God cares for. The eyes of the Lord your God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year … And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened … For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.

Lord God Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, Community Bible Study comes before You through prayer and fasting to seek Your will for us. You have guided this powerful ministry of Your Word since the beginning, and we give You all the praise. You have called and caused CBS to move with You over these past five decades, and we look to You to show us the new places that You have sovereignly prepared for Your Word to go forth through CBS. Please use CBS to bring the rain of revival through Your Word in every life we serve. Please use CBS to bring the rain of revival through Your Word into the new lands. We offer this ministry and our very selves to You for Your mission for CBS to make disciples of Your Son, Jesus Christ, through Your Word. Amen
