Many of you know that the CBS Board of Trustees has been seeking God's will for a new Executive Director for almost two years. Throughout this time, the leadership has sought not to lean on its own understanding, but to seek someone supernaturally called by God to lead this ministry.
We are pleased to tell you that the search has been completed and that Kimm Carr, CBS Teaching Director from Athens, Georgia, has answered the call!
Read on to see how God has knit this work together:

CBS is committed to transparency in all of its financial dealings. To further this goal, we contract with an outside accounting firm each year to perform a comprehensive audit of our financials. Additionally, we are committed to maintaining membership and compliance with the requirements of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) and participate each year in the ECFA mandated reporting, compliance and audit activities.
In keeping with these commitments, the 2012 audited financial reports and the IRS Form 990 are now available online.
Transformed Lives Through the Word of God.
Community Bible Study is committed to this vision of the future: that individuals, families, communities and even generations will be transformed by His powerful Word.
To that end, we have developed the Engage Bible Studies. This series provides a fresh, new resource for individuals, small groups, and churches to experience God’s Word. The study is built on our wonderful legacy of rich Bible studies and replaces the It’s In the Book series.
Ten volumes are now available through our own online store (www.engagebiblestudies.com) and at Amazon.com, Christian Book Distributors, and other local Christian book stores. Additional volumes will be made available as soon as they are complete.
Over the years, our Bible study entitled It’s in the Book has been a powerful complement to our full CBS class experience. It has blessed many families and has been used successfully by many churches. We look forward to continuing that work with the Engage Bible Studies series.
